Hi

I am done with the Swedish translation and the good people at
http://www.tp-sv.se are offering to review. It's just that when one
clone the read-only version by

    git clone https://vcs.fsf.org/git/enc.git

you get a clone with latest commit from 2014. Its a bit out of date.

Can we fix this. Or is there any other suggestions of how to deal with
it, should i put a copy of my repo somewhere as a work-around?

Hello Tomas,

I just imported Edward's key again from the Enigmail menu, after
deleting the key that I already had:

Key management > Search keys, keyword: edward@fsf.org > select "Edward,
the GPG bot" in the list, OK > Enigmail alert, OK

Then I sent my public key to Edward and got the right answer.

Hope it works for you if you try again.

Best,
Th=C3=A9r=C3=A8se

I had in my gpg.conf:

    keyserver x-hkp://pgp.mit.edu

and had problems. Then (from the FAQ
https://www.gnupg.org/faq/gnupg-faq.html#text-new_user_gpg_conf) I put:

    keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net
    keyserver-options import-clean-sigs import-clean-uids export-clean-si=
gs export-clean-uids

No problem. For some reason I could not get Edward's key from the MIT
server. But now I can get it -- so problem solved.

I have provided the reviewers with an archive of the english and swedish
version and they can deal with it, it can be rendered properly.

But anyway -- It might be better to have it fixed? It could be a source
of confusion, and being able to get a read-only copy of the full repo
should be preferable for a more complete review. Plus, when I do
editorials after review, it would be smooth for them to just make a new
pull to see that we are on the same page.

In best case somebody reading this list are in power to fix it.

Hi,

I've just added a static/Makefile.img script, which allows automatic
conversion of the svg files to png. The advantage is that the dimension
of the images are coded into the script, so the translators don't need
to look them up in the wiki before doing the conversion manually.

I've also noticed a few counter intuitive things I don't really understand.

What is the reason of having a separate module from the main repository?
It is quite confusing and complicates the work.

Why the gnupg-infographic.svg is placed in the static/ rather than
static/svg/en?

Why the filenames in svg/en/ and img/en/ are different? Is there any
justification for img/en/screenshots/ directory?

Thanks,

Tomas

maybe somewhat embarrassing for me; the first server suggested by
