Hi,

Yes, I understood that it's 'read-only' repo.

But in my case, to record a contribution under Outreachy project#3 - Self-defense guide update, I need to make at least one contribution - As the outreachy website allows '"Record contribution and then apply for org"' process.

So, any help in regarding this issue?

Whichever you prefer; that command line was for read-only clone,
you are not to push it anywhere.
