Hello, translators

Happy holidays to all of you that are celebrating them, and happy
(hopefully) time off from work to the rest of you.

ESD is reaching the end of its first calendar year, which has been very
succesful, and I am thinking about ways to improve it into the future.

Firstly, I'm looking for someone to be its... I don't what to call it --
guardian. This won't be a time-consuming job or involve any writing. All
you've got to do is keep an eye on new releases in the different
programs taught by the guide and notice if they go out of date or stop
working together. Then, along with me, you'll decide how we'll change
the guide to keep it up to date. To give an example, you might notice
that Enigmail stopped being developed (don't worry -- in reality it is a
very healthy project), and recommend a new extension for the guide to
recommend.

Any interest? Anyone like to nominate someone else?

I also wanted to let you know that, though it is moving very slowly, we
are working on setting up a templating system. Thank you to those who
have improvised and set up their own in the meantime. The long time this
is taking is not because of the volunteer involved, it's because the FSF
has been very busy.

Thanks again for your work on this guide.
